Location: Sydney CBD, with 4 days a week in the office and 1 day from home.
Compensation: $800-$900 per day including super.
Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension.

Role Description
This is a unique opportunity for a T-shaped software engineer to contribute both creatively and operationally. You will play a role in innovating and developing new features using microservices architecture within their .NET environment. At the same time, you’ll be responsible for BAU tasks and the ongoing support of the system, ensuring it remains scalable, reliable, and efficient. 

DevOps Responsibilities
A key project they are looking to deliver is to uplift the company’s DevOps maturity by implementing industry best practices. Strong DevOps skills are essential to drive improvements within the team. Responsibilities include:

  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Bicep, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, or Chef.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines.

Tech Stack

  • Expertise in C#, .NET/ .NET 5+ 
  • Proficiency in SQL Server
  • Experience with Azure, CI/CD practices, and Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong backend development experience, particularly with microservices.
  • T-shaped engineer with deep expertise in backend development and broad knowledge of DevOps and cloud technologies.
  • Advocate of clean code and well-versed in various design patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for technology.
