Position Details

St Peter's Primary School is a triple stream school catering for students from Pre-Kindy to Year Six.

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Education Assistant to complement our strong team. You are invited to apply for this position and join an amazing team who has already created memorable and challenging experiences for all our students.

This is a temporary full-time position commencing 15 July 2024 and concluding 4 July 2025.

Selection Criteria

ESSENTIAL
•    A commitment to the ethos of Catholic education and a willingness to promote and support the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
•    Highly developed communication, questioning and modelling skills, and a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
•    The ability to work cooperatively with staff and to implement learning programs, and possess sound literacy and numeracy skills.
•    Competency with the use of Information Technology to support children's learning.
•    Flexibility to meet the needs of the children, staff and the School.
DESIRABLE
•    Qualifications and/or experience in working with students with additional needs and/or specific learning difficulties.
•    Current Senior First Aid Certificate.

Qualifications Required

•    Certificate III or IV in Education Support.
•    Current Working With Children.
•    Current Police Clearance.
