Our client has grown to become one of the largest and most well respected 4X4 accessories manufacturers and distributors in Australia.
The in-house engineering, design, research and development (R&D) team continually develop new and exciting four-wheel drive products suited to the local market and tested specifically for Australian Conditions. Cutting edge designs, award winning products and patented innovations keep our client at the forefront of performance off-road components and manufacturing excellence in Australia.
Seeking a passionate 4WD Accessories Fitter to work in an exciting, innovative and new workshop working alongside fellow 4WD enthusiasts who love cars and workshops.
What this role means for you:
- Working in a new workshop with the latest technology and machinery
- Monday to Friday 7.00am - 4.00pm
- 1.5hrs OT each day
- Some Saturday's required
- Ordinary rate $40/hr, Time ½ $60/hr, Double $80/hr
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Fitting 4WD Suspension kits and components.
- Accessory fitting such as bull bars, spotlights and LED lights, snorkels, roof racks, duel batteries and solar panels.
- Shock absorber servicing and re-valving, chassis bracing and a range of other vehicle modifications.
- Some welding will be required.
What you need to be successful
- 4WD suspension fitting experience.
- 4WD parts and accessories knowledge.
- Trade qualified mechanics, wheel aligners or auto electricians and mechanically minded people are encouraged to apply.
- Must be fit & healthy and be able to pass a Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Must be able present a clear Pass a National Police Clearance
- Live local to Burpengary, QLD
