We are looking for positive, flexible and customer focused, Food and Beverage (Bistro/Bar/Gaming) Attendants to join our team at Mackey's Royal Hotel, in Latrobe.
The general duties performed in this role will include attending to enquiries from our gaming patrons, preparing and dispensing beverages and providing fantastic customer service to all our hotel guests.
Some of the position’s duties include (but are not limited to):
- A comprehensive understanding of food & beverage products and services
- Deliver a professional & mature “can do” attitude with the ability to work unsupervised
- Provide fantastic customer service to all our hotel patrons
- Managing gaming functions within the venue
- Managing TAB functions within the venue
- Monitoring gaming operations within the venue
- Maintaining compliance and responsible gaming practices
- Day to day operations of a busy gaming room
- Demonstrated cash handling proficiency
- A comprehensive knowledge of all gaming machine regulations, compliance, operations and procedures
The following qualifications are desirable:
- Current Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG)
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
- Keno Writer or Senior Keno Writer Certificates
- TAB experience would be an advantage
Availability and flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts which may include public holidays.
