But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300

We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Based at our Alice Springs depot, we are seeking motivated Truck Drivers due to growth in our business. Are you interested in developing a long term career with JJ’s by becoming a professional operator?

This role will require you to service multiple customer’s sites per day, be focused, honest and reliable. 

Working with safe, modern and reliable fleet – serviced and maintained in our own workshops.  

You will have a current HR, HC or MC licence, we can teach you the rest

ABOUT YOU

  • Current HR/HC or MC license
  • Side arm, rear lift, RORO, hook lift or front lift truck experience is preferred (however, full training will be provided)
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday - early start early finish - including public holidays as required
  • Commit to JJ’s Waste values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity
  • Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance
  • Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
  • Able to provide your last 5 years’ traffic history at interview stage
  • Well-developed people and relationship skills
