Role Description/Criteria
St Teresa of Kolkata in Tarneit North opened in January this year and we are slowly building our staffing as we expand. We currently have 150 students but the expected enrolment projection is 650.
This is a very exciting opportunity to join a school in the early stages of growth. Although this is a fixed term position for the remainder of the year, our school is growing rapidly and there will be ongoing part time and full time positions available in 2025.
We are seeking a flexible, vibrant experienced teacher who will be able to support students needing intervention and/or extension in the areas of Mathematics and Literacy. There will also be some releasing of staff, so our leadership team can expand. This will be discussed further in the interview.
This position is for 3 days a week (2 days could also be considered for the suitable applicant). The days are negotiable.

Requirements:
Applicants must :
Have VIT registration.
Demonstrate an understanding and work in a manner that supports the Catholic ethos and traditions of the school.
Have experience or knowledge of intervention strategies or a solid foundation of effective learning and teaching approaches.
Maintain a commitment to child safety in keeping with our Child Safe Policy and Child Safe Code of Conduct (these can be accessed via our school website).
Provide relevant documentation of required qualifications.
