As they are looking to grow, they are looking for a new team member The Successful Candidate will be an integral member of the team and report directly to the CFO and Managing Director.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the CFO and Managing Director, your main job duties will include;

  • Full Function Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Bank reconciliation on daily basis (including Company Credit Card)
  • Debtor management
  • Assist CFO with End-to-End Payroll (Up to 15 employees)
  • Assist CFO with timesheet management of all employees on weekly basis
  • Reconciliation of BAS (inc. Fuel Tax Rebate), Superannuation, Long Service Leave (LeavePlus), WorkCover on monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Assist CFO w month end processing and reconciliation of financial statements
  • Assist the CFO in preparation of the management reports, budget, forecast and maintain healthy cashflow
  • Maintenance of the fixed asset register
  • Renewing registration and insurance of company motor vehicles
  • Liaising with ATO, finance broker and insurance brokers as required
  • Assisting external tax accountants with end of year tax lodgement documents
  • Provide support to the CFO and Managing Director
  • Best practice - continually identify and implement process or systemic improvements
  • Internal software and document management including organising and maintaining digital files and records
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and goals
  • Actively seek to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have proven experience as an Office Manager/Bookkeeper in a similar administrative role with strong proficiency in Accounts Payable and Receivable processes. They will have excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, and have excellent time management skills.
