Insight Electrical and Data is a family owned domestic and small commercial electrical business that pride themselves on delivering high end finishes with exceptional customer service in all areas of our electrical projects. We are currently seeking licensed electricians to join our team, servicing the Newcastle area.

If you’re a qualified electrician looking for a fresh start and a challenging role with a company that values the contribution you make and invests in your development, then this role could be for you. 

We currently have a team of highly motivated technicians, who take pride in the overall quality of their work in the jobs we take on. We have quite a few projects incoming and with business expanding, we are keen to get you on board. You will also have the capacity to boost your income with overtime work when available, along with the benefits of a work vehicle, fuel card, iPad and phone allowance.

What we offer

  • Earn $40 - $50 per hour - Above award rates.
  • 9-day fortnight with every 2nd Friday off to ensure we all have a good work/life balance.
  • Company Hiace Van – or if a dual cab 4wd works better for you and your family, this can be an option.
  • Phone allowance, company iPad, fuel card and required uniform.
  • Optional overtime and weekend work when available.
  • Fun team environment with beers, BBQ and fun social events throughout the year. You’ll need a sense of humour 
  • End of year Christmas bonuses and Christmas shut down.
  • A boss who looks after you and a supportive, energetic, and collaborative team. 

About you

  • Current and valid Electrical licence, drivers’ licence and white card.
  • Experience in wiring new homes and small commercial fit outs. 
  • Experience in service and maintenance work. 
  • Great attitude and love working with in a team environment. 
  • Problem solving skills and enjoy a challenge. 
  • Great communication and customer service skills.
  • Great attitude to safety. 
  • Understanding and experience with Australian codes and standards.
