About The Role：

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our dynamic team, dedicated to delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and executing test plans, enhancing automation, and ensuring seamless product functionality. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities：

  • Participate in planning, reviewing system requirements, and translating them to test scenarios.
  • Work closely with the product owner to help & define acceptance criteria wherever necessary.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and conduct testing activities.
  • Perform testing (manually and automation).
  • Increase test coverage & identify opportunities for test automation.
  • Develop, execute & maintain test automation scripts.
  • Identify, record and track defects. Perform thorough regression when defects are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes, and recommend improvements in product to enhance user experience.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product manager) to identify system requirements.
  • Evaluate tool capabilities, hardware, and software requirements to meet any test objectives.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Software Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in web application testing, product testing, and a thorough understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficient in Restful API testing and experienced with black-box and automated testing approaches.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Postman, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Strong practical knowledge of programming languages, specifically JavaScript or Python.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
  • Experience in performance testing is considered advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Extensive experience working in Agile development environments.
