Position Overview: As a Wholesale Kitchen Pastry Chef, you will play a pivotal role in our production process, overseeing the creation of a wide range of pastries and baked goods. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recipes for a diverse range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with management to plan production schedules, manage inventory, and optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a wholesale or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavour profiles, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards, with relevant certifications preferred.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
