About the Role

A new opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join BOQ Group This role demands deep expertise in detecting, preventing, and managing financial crime, as well as a robust understanding of financial crime regulations and compliance requirements.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of assisting business stakeholders in identifying problems and defining the business and customer outcomes that drive their needs. You'll assess the current state of the business, envision its future state, and pinpoint the gaps that outline end-to-end business requirements. By identifying options and solutions, you'll enable the business to select the best path forward.

In this role, you'll provide vital support and leadership to Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Project Team Members within the Portfolio. You'll ensure the consistency, high quality, and timely delivery of all business analysis and business design activities and artefacts across projects. Additionally, you'll focus on enhancing the Portfolio's capability and fostering cross-Portfolio engagement.

About you

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and understanding of financial crime systems and technologies, alongside exposure to various project management and system development methodologies. You will be adept in business process improvement methodology, with extensive experience in a Business Analysis role on projects. Additionally, you will possess strong process modeling and business writing skills, as well as direct line management experience.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will demonstrate core competencies and contribute to the maturity of the team, including expertise in solution analysis and validation, business analysis planning and monitoring, and process modeling. You will also excel in customer journey mapping and human-centered design, requirements elicitation and documentation, requirements management, and benefits management.
