What You'll Do

We currently have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planner Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Planning, you will be the conduit between maintenance and production in establishing timing and execution for short-term planned maintenance works. Your responsibilities will include planning of maintenance activities, scheduling, inspections, shutdowns, statutory requirements and adhoc work according to priority, operational needs and resourcing availability.

Efficient planning, scheduling and continuous improvement of the current mechanical maintenance strategies in alignment with the maintenance business processes will enable Curragh to achieve required equipment availability, production and cost targets within the Maintenance Department.

This role will be responsible for the weekly and major shutdown planning and scheduling of all mechanical works for Curragh's field plant and dragline assets.

These are permanent roles working a 7/7 roster.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in the use of CMMS, Oracle & Viziya experience is advantageous but not essential
• Understanding of Asset Management strategies, and Maintenance planning workflow
• Understanding of life cycle costing and budget forecasting processes
• Previous planning and scheduling experience would be highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of statutory laws and regulations governing maintenance at open cut coal mines
• Strong technical knowledge in the mechanical field
• Strong communication and relationship skills
• Strong Leadership skills
