Your opportunity to join us at North Ryde

As part of our Sales and Marketing team you will partner with our Account leads across all customers to identify and improve the revenue we obtain from selling our products through pricing, mix and improved sales execution.

Key responsibilities:

  • Pricing Analysis:
    • Support development of a revenue management strategy which delivers against strategic, commercial, and operational imperatives
    • Work collaboratively with the sales account leads to develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of pricing data and tools by channel and customer to identify opportunities for improvement
    • Support alignment of NPD pricing to strategy and guardrails
    • Perform price promotional analysis to optimise returns from discretional trade spend
  • Portfolio Optimisation:
    • Identify ranging priorities by SKU and ranging gaps by customers
    • Identify opportunities to improve commercial returns through improvements to mix
  • Support Sales Execution:
    • Coordinate price increases and changes to pricing strategy across the sales team
    • Support the development and roll out of the “pricing” guardrails component of 4P strategy plan
    • Assist sales team with ad hoc requests to review pricing requests and opportunities

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a commercial discipline
  • Experience in the sales / category / marketing arm of a B2B consumer goods business (preferably retail grocery)
  • Basic foundational knowledge of the top half of a customer P&L in a consumer goods business
  • Familiarity with how supplier-funded price promotional activity is used in the FMCG industry
  • Solid attention to detail with strong numeracy skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where rapid turnaround and decision making is needed
  • Self-starter and comfortable following others up for information
  • Ambitious and looking to grow career in FMCG in the sales / marketing / category vertical, as a National Account Manager or similar
  • Intermediate level Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Previous exposure to Power BI is preferred
