Myer is looking for a Finance Analyst who will be supporting the Commercial Finance Manager to provide key stakeholders and finance with tailored, strategic advice, business case support and performance reporting that enables the financial success of the Customer portfolio including financial services.

About the opportunity

  • Provide financial modelling and business case support on project investment requests to key stakeholders
  • Review post implementation benefits to assess project effectiveness and communicate results
  • Analyse financial data and results to educate the customer business unit on opportunities to improve profitability and strategic decision making
  • Assist in adhoc projects and analysis and value adding on day to day duties and processes
  • Delivery of monthly customer performance reporting, metrics submissions and commentary for the Board & EGM, as required
  • Manage and collaborate with key stakeholders to build detailed budgets and forecasts for the Customer business unit
  • Undertake presentation of monthly results and forecasts to key stakeholders, and highlight key risks and opportunities

About you

  • Seasoned experience in a business partnering role
  • CA or CPA qualified or similar, with previous experience in a Commercial Finance environment
  • Previous experience in Retail, eCommerce or a similar diversified sector is a bonus
  • Strong excel modelling skills with experience working with large data sets
  • Analytical and quantitative problem solving skills with high attention to detail
  • A positive approach to challenge and change with the ability to be agile and adaptable
  • Able to communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders
