Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Consultant, Technology Category Management to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.
The Consultant, Technology Category Management is responsible for driving process improvement including optimising vendor relationships, reporting and raising capability across the department to ensure transparency over utilisation and spend across the varying categories of technology within DBS.The role will help drive the Technology Category Management team and foster a collaborative environment ensuring teams members are effectively driving and contributing to the objectives of the organisation.

What you need to succeed
1. Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of postgraduate qualifications or progress towards post graduate and extensive relevant experience.
2. Demonstrated high level of expertise and experience in a technology category management role, including a strong understanding of asset management lifecycle.
3. Proven high-level communication and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively consult and liaise with multiple stakeholder groups at all levels and deliver critical points to achieve business objectives.
4. Proven capability in reviewing new or modified processes to meet requirements and guidelines with the demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction for technology categories management, including risk and issue identification and management.
5. Highly developed interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, build positive relationships, collaborate, negotiate, influence and gain commitment from stakeholders to achieve organisational outcomes.
6. Demonstrated high level digital literacy skills including proven understanding and experience working SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365 personal and enterprise productivity suites.
