Project Highlight:The first major initiative you will be involved in is a 21MW solar farm based in New Zealand, necessitating travel to the site approximately twice a month.Spearhead the conceptual design of renewable projects, with a primary focus on PV solar projects and BESS.Manage the creation of project-specific deliverables such as SLD, PVsyst reports, general layouts, string designs, and equipment selections for optimal performance.Coordinate with third-party design firms to ensure timely and efficient advancement of engineering designs.Provide comprehensive engineering support across all project stages, including pre-feasibility, RFP tender, construction, and operations management.Support the procurement team by specifying technical requirements and ensuring all materials are compliant with design specifications.Handle the management of design revisions and version control on-site, including maintaining document registers, coordinating design information requirements for subcontractors, and liaising with third-party design teams.Collaborate closely with power grid companies and AEMO on connection issues and GPS modeling.
