We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Product and Governance team at Mercer. This role will be based in our Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will be accountable for various analytical and administrative functions related to the management of Mercer’s Investment Funds in Australia. This includes implementing process efficiencies and monitoring funds across distribution partners to ensure compliance with risk, regulatory, and legal obligations. The role involves collaboration with senior product managers, project managers, and stakeholders, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you should be organised, disciplined in version control, and possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage and prepare data efficiently associated with product changes.
  • Monitor funds, report to research houses and gatekeepers, and conduct competitor analysis.
  • Handle product team administration functions, including managing regulatory form lodgements, processing client rebates, and maintaining product lists and structure charts.
  • Contribute to product management initiatives, including implementing changes to existing products and new product initiatives.

What you need to have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a business-related field such as finance, accounting, business, management, legal, or marketing.
  • Some experience in the financial services industry, preferably in an investment services or product function.
  • Proven ability to manage and manipulate data effectively.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills.
