The Role

Skout Solutions, on behalf of Ventia is currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced and qualified RIO TINTO inducted Riggers/Scaffolders. You'll primarily be working on shutdowns and project work. These positions are on a casual ongoing basis, however the shifts on offer will be subject to client’s needs with potential to be moved to a full-time role.

Hourly Rate: $46.95 + Super + $4.20 Site Allowance + $6.50 Shutdown/Project Allowance

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s licence
  • High Risk Work Licence - Advanced Scaffolding (SB/SI/SA)
  • High Risk Work License – Advanced Rigging (RB/RI/RA)
  • Working Safely at Heights
  • First Aid certificate
  • Fire Extinguisher Training (One of the following competencies - MSMWHS212 / PUAWER008B / CPPFES2005A)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical including D&A

Desirable

  • RIO TINTO inductions – Highly regarded
  • MSIC – Highly regarded
  • Experience working for BHP, Rio Tinto or similar
  • Open or C6 Crane Licence - Not essential but highly regarded
  • High Risk EWP, DG & LF - Not essential but highly regarded
