Our client is a reputable FMCG business based in Shepparton, who are looking for immediate support within their finance team.
 
About the role
 
This position is a 6-month full time contract role with the opportunity to be extended and/or made permanent with 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home. The key responsibilities below are preferred but not essential as the client is flexible and willing to train the right candidate.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with the Operations Team for timely Factory performance reporting and improvement actions.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to continuously review factory performance and drive enhancements.
  • Assist in developing product costs for the portfolio, providing insights for key decisions.
  • Help influence strategic decisions by identifying cost assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
  • Use product data to reduce variances between expected and actual performance.
  • Collaborate on annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly performance reports.
  • Provide training and coaching to improve operational costing understanding among business leaders.

About you
 

  • 1-3 years relevant experience in a similar role ideally within the FMCG environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Dynamics 365 is preferred but not essential.
  • Opportunity for relevant candidates to come straight from public practise.
  • High level of attention to detail with proven level of quality and accuracy of work.
  • Proactive research, analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • True team player.
