The Opportunity

HCA have an amazing opportunity for Workshop Fitter to join our growing service department. Based at our Revesby Branch, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customer’s equipment. In this position, you will enjoy working alongside a talented team who are safety and customer focused and who all help each other achieve success

Your Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The repair and maintenance of both new and used equipment.
  • Conduct basic failure analysis and identify specific modes of failure.
  • Preparation and testing pre-delivery inspections of new equipment.
  • Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reports.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment in line with the company’s 5S standards.

  • Qualifications – Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology preferable however other mechanical trades will be considered.
  • Experience & Skillset - Heavy Diesel mechanics and field service fitters with demonstrated OEM equipment experience – excavator specific diagnosis is highly beneficial.
  • Customer Focus - Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively, understanding customer needs and delivering quality outcomes to ensure Total Customer Satisfaction.
