The opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Occupational Health and Safety Manager who will be responsible for driving safety with our operational leadership teams and site champions. The role is aligned to our Datacentres and warehouses across NZ and AUS for our Service Delivery Service line. 

No two days will be the same and this role offers true variety whether you are incident investigating, involved in performing audits, championing new practices within OHS or providing subject matter advice to our senior stakeholders. This fast paced, rewarding, and diverse role will suit someone with a continuous improvement mindset.

The role will be focused on improving health and safety of Fujitsu employees and advancing the safety culture. Operating across a national footprint, you will be hands on in assisting operational teams and managers to implement and assure Fujitsu standards. An inclusive and engaging individual you will identify and share best practices and incorporate these in routine operations.

About you
To succeed in this role you will have:

3+ years managing safety in high risk multisite environments OH&S Degree or equivalent, membership of professional body (desirable) Experience in championing a safety culture across a multi-site operational environment Excellent communications skills including building relationships and influencing change. Incident investigation experience Experience conducting audits / Lead auditor qualifications Able to work independently and to tight deadlines Good IT skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, intranet) Ability to visit sites Nationally

We are ideally looking for someone with a background in Health and Safety within the warehouse or data centre space, or other high-risk industry (manufacturing, construction etc). This role reports into our Head of OH&S Oceania and can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Fujitsu offers a hybrid way of working.
