Launch Recruitment are supporting a large financial organisation in finding a IAM Security Consultant to join the team. Due to the increase in work load this position has been created to ensure the IAM strategy is maintained and successful, whilst aligning with the wide security teams. 
 
As part of the IAM team, you will contribute to the business’ overall mission by helping build the IAM strategy in conjunction with other cyber-security domains.You will have a keen interest in improving Cyber-Security outcomes, both with a long-term strategic lens and an immediate attention to current state. 
 
Your key responsibilities may include:

  • Assist in synthesising data related to emerging threats, vendor capabilities, regulator expectations and the business’ current IAM state for a variety of audiences.
  • Contribute to the overall Cybersecurity strategy, with a particular focus on IAM
  • Assist and advise the broader organisation (e.g., Security Architecture, Assurance and Risk) as required.

This is a strategy role where you will have a good understanding of the IAM environment and able to support in the 3-5 year roadmap, helping plot the pathway. You will be speaking with senior leaders, comfortable to answer questions and give talks to groups of people around the strategy and importance of the IAM roadmap. You will support with the IAM projects making sure they are running smoothly with the wider cyber security teams across the business.

Location: Sydney 
Salary: $150,000 plus super
