VM Drilling is a privately owned RC drilling company based in Kalgoorlie, serving clients throughout Western Australia. VM Drilling was established in 2004 as a one rig company and has grown organically to a reputable mid-size company. Today the business is operating up to 10 Rigs and possesses extensive experience within the mining industry.

VM Drilling offer training and career paths for the right people. We are proud to have demonstrated longevity in our team with 8+ years, we have a number of employees who started out as offsiders with no experience and are now drillers, leading our people and part of our core team.  

Applicants outside of Western Australia will not be considered for this position. FIFO from Perth only. Applicants with full working rights only will be considered. This position is not currently open to working holiday or other limited visa or sponsorship applicants.

There is no previous experience required for this position, you will be supplied with on-the-job training. 

Requirement for this position: 

  • Must have HR drivers licence (HR-B at minimum) 
  • Must be able to supply a clean National Police Clearance
  • Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
  • Senior first aid (or willing to obtain) 
  • Working at heights (or willing to obtain)
