We have an opportunity for a casual pharmacy technician to join our Epic Pharmacy team based onsite at the West Gippsland Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to further enhance your career in an ever-evolving multidisciplinary team environment. We are a forward-thinking team, seizing opportunities for change, growth and improvement in patient outcomes.
Gain the chance to further diversify your career in pharmacy and be exposed to a variety of multidisciplinary services including hospital and compounding. You will be working with a collaborative team of experienced and enthusiastic pharmacists who will be sharing their knowledge and guidance, and best of all you will be supported through structured training, including an introduction to Hospital Tech-ing
Warragul is conveniently located and is approximately 60 minutes’ drive to many recreational activities ranging from the Melbourne CBD, Victorian snowfields and Victoria’s beaches.
In this role, you’ll:
Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatients Assist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stock Reconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles Provide support to patients, carers and hospital staff Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge Confidently complete administrative and record keeping duties Assist with patient account enquiries Who are we looking for?

Previous experience working in an Australian pharmacy Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) is an advantage Previous experience working in retail sales and POS About Epic Pharmacy:
