Job DescriptionOur Connected Technology Group (CTG) defines and drives the digital, data and technology strategy for KPMG. We cultivate collaboration and integrate tech execution across our business, driving a firmwide approach to how we go-to-market and build the capability of our people and attract new talent.Role The Lead Integration Architect for CTG will be at the forefront of designing and overseeing the implementation of internal integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform. This strategic role involves leading governance activities, enhancing best practices, and ensuring that integration solutions are reusable, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the company's long-term objectives. Key Responsibilities:Architect and govern enterprise-level integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and other integration solutions like SAP BTP.Lead and mentor the integration team, onshore and offshore, setting high standards for design and implementation.Drive the enhancement of and compliance with integration governance policies and procedures. Refine and maintain adherence to standards and guidelines.Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust integration architectures.Champion API-led connectivity and ensure adherence to MuleSoft's design principles across the organization.Provide thought leadership in integration strategy and innovation.Develop and oversee performance metrics and ensure optimization of all integration solutions.Maintain alignment with KPMG's architecture practice, staying informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and evolving standards to continuously improve integration architecture capabilities.Develop and communicate architecture guidelines, design patterns, and standards to be followed in integration projects, fostering consistency, scalability, and maintainability.Serve as the custodian of all existing integration assets across the organization, with particular focus on reusable assets registered in Any point Exchange, ensuring their proper management, governance, and utilization in integration projects.Evangelize Capability Excellence: Promote the excellence of the MuleSoft capability within CTG. This includes organizing evangelization sessions, fostering relationships with the MuleSoft vendor.How are you extraordinary?You enjoy working in the details, with a proactive attitude towards accuracy and deadlines.You are a relationship builder, with keen communication skills and the knack for building and managing relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.You are able to digest, distil, and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal forms.You have a can-do attitude and ability to troubleshoot if need arises.You are a strategic, analytical, and critical thinker, love using that skill to solve complex problems and plan for the future and always seeking creative solutions to problems.Your ExperienceMinimum of 15 years of experience in integration architecture, with at least 5 years dedicated to MuleSoft platform and governance activities.Extensive experience as an Integration Architect, with a significant focus on MuleSoft solutions and governance.Demonstrated leadership in establishing integration best practices and governance frameworks.Deep experience of integration and API architecture - and a thorough understanding of industry trends, vendors, frameworks, and practicesHave worked in a DevOps culture and understands the agile delivery principles and quality software engineering processes and practice.Experience with either RAML or OASKnowledge of security (authentication and authorization, encryption)Knowledge of infrastructureAbility to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Ideally experience in a professional services firmQualificationsTertiary qualification (Masters or Bachelor's degree) in a relevant field.Advanced certifications in MuleSoft or related fields are preferred.Additional InformationKPMG is a professional services firm with global outreach and deep sector experience.
