About the role
As a Tree Investigation Officer, you will play a crucial role in investigating unauthorised tree works and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
You will work closely with stakeholders to gather evidence, issue notices, and implement regulatory programs to prevent illegal activities.
Your responsibilities will include conducting investigations, preparing legal documents, collaborating with internal departments, and communicating with external agencies to uphold environmental standards.
Qualifications, skills & experience
We are seeking candidates with:
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Law or Law Enforcement Experience in environmental law enforcement and conflict resolution Strong project management and communication skills A proactive attitude and a dedication to protecting the environmentBenefits
35 hours per week with access to flexi time Health & Fitness $100 yearly reimbursement (conditional) Beautiful Ku-ring-gai Location Supportive team environmentThis role will be required to work weekends and be available for after-hours emergency call outs.
