Project description

We are looking for experienced senior business analyst for a significantly large multi-million-dollar program for a Tier 1 banking client based in Australia. There are a number of projects as part of the build out of Treasury function which require highly experienced BAs in the domain with sound data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will fulfil the following responsibilities -

Participate in requirements analysis, understand details of the requirement and required validation/success criteria.

Work with test team to design comprehensive user test cases to validate technical data-based solutions to the requirement.

Engage users and business / stakeholders providing appropriate test results, explaining why they validate original requirements and resolving any gaps in understanding.

Develop quality documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

Resolution of assigned task in a timely fashion and escalation where necessary.

Maintain and follow appropriate standards.

Must be willing to work with testing team and test lead

Skills

Must have

8 + years of experience in business analysis roles leveraging functionally rich and complex applications.

Good experience with data structures, SQL queries and stored procedures.

Good experience with Treasury domain and balance sheet management

Excellent understanding of financial products in general and treasury functions in particular such as balance sheet management, liquidity, NSFR, banking book risk, interest rate risk (IRRBB), transfer pricing etc and their relevant data attributes/flows and transformations.

Strong track record of working with testers on functional and regression test suites in a financial services organization.

Good communication skills. Must be able to understand requirements and explain solutions, test scripts and results to business stakeholders and the team.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Able to investigate, analyse and troubleshoot tasks.
