THE OPPORTUNITY

Working with Holmesglen Institute’s Centre for Energy & Infrastructure, this position requires a passionate educator to inspire the next generation of Electrical Trades students. Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our electrical apprentices

With the unique privilege of teaching across three qualifications, you'll have the platform to display your mastery in electrical trades delivering A grade units to apprentices, and Certificate II units to pre-apprentice students wishing to enter the electrical trades industry.

ABOUT YOU

Current industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered, with a particular emphasis on current technology and industry practice. Experience as a teacher of vocational and/or higher education and training programs. Ability to convey knowledge, skills and experience to a diverse student population through the selection and use of a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies. An approved degree or diploma in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed; and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502.
