About you and the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior IR Advisor to join our team, based in our vibrant Sydney office. This role offers a unique and dynamic experience, as you will be directly involved in supporting some of NSW's most iconic projects, taking a hands-on approach to make a significant impact.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Regular site visits across all NSW projects. 
  • Work collaboratively with key members of the People team and broader People function to ensure a consistent level of IR/ER service is provided.
  • Act as an escalation point and case manage significant IR matters in collaboration with the Regional IR Manager and the NASER team. 
  • Training and educating project teams and subcontractors. 
  • Provide support with compliance issues. 
  • Assisting with enterprise agreements. 

To be successful in this role, you will have;

  • A bachelors degree and relevant experience in Law, Business, Industrial Relations, Human Resources or Employee Relations.
  • Previous experience as an IR advisor working on complex infrastructure projects. 
  • Ability to build rapport and strong relationships with all stakeholders. 
  • Ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to travel when required.
