A job to be proud of:
We are currently seeking a Support Officer to join our Business Intelligence Planning and Improvement (BIPI) department and support our Planning & Improvement teams. The department at St John WA provides coordination and alignment of services across the business – ‘one stop shop’ for all data, analysis, decision support, performance reporting, project delivery, change and governance.
What you’ll do:
The Support Officer will have focused support across our Planning & Improvement teams. You will provide a range of support, coordination and non-technical services such as;
- Capture and maintain records of all requests to Planning & Improvement, using the department’s task management system
- Provide stakeholders with updates on the status of requests, including any additional information or approval required.
- Act as the first point of contact for general queries or requests to the Planning & improvement team
- Prepare user guides and related training material and other information for products and services provided by the team.
- Compile and maintain documentation of internal governance policies.
- Conduct non-technical testing of new interactive reports and documents providing feedback on ease of use and interpretation from the perspective of a general user.
- Coordinate the collection of monthly reporting submissions from other departments
- Conduct general support duties such as updating the department’s intranet page, processing orders or invoices, or as directed by the Line Manager or Head of Department.
What you’ll need:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to operate within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and other typical work-related software
- Ability to document processes and policies
Desirable:
- Familiarity with task management and knowledge management (wiki) systems (such as JIRA and Confluence)
- Ability to interpret charts and tables in existing reports, as well as general numerical literacy.
- Background in corporate, health, community or commercial based sectors
- Recent experience working within a Project Management Team
