Responsibilities:

Lead the negotiation of construction agreements, operation and maintenance arrangements, and other commercial contracts across Australia and Asia. Draft contracts, collaborating with commercial and technical teams involved in each project. Act as a bridge between commercial and technical personnel, consolidating findings into contracts. Manage complex contracts throughout delivery, supporting the full project life cycle. Prepare commercial offers and responses to RFPs. Assist in updating company contract templates to align with the global legal team. Facilitate project handover from the contracting team to the implementation team.

Requirements

Minimum 8+ years' legal experience in front-line negotiation of complex commercial transactions. Proven experience leading contract negotiations. Background in construction or utility-scale projects. Strong commitment to ethics, compliance, and safety. Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and self-motivation. Exceptional judgment in both business and interpersonal matters. In-house experience highly regarded. Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
