Join our dedicated team and lead our clinical staff in delivering exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a passionate and experienced full-time Clinical Team Leader position in our Residential Home.
Main duties of the role:
• Provide leadership to all staff in all aspects of the operations of the facility
• Overseeing the day- to day operations and ensuring the smooth running of the facility.
• Lead and mentor a team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
• Supervise and manage all care staff.
• Identify underperforming staff members and develop performance improvement plans (PIPs) tailored to address specific areas of concern. Provide necessary training and support to help staff meet performance expectations and improve their skills.
• Perform Resident admissions and assign clinical team, and discharge procedures completed.
• Provide the first and direct support as a point person for the clinical staff.
• Provide oversight of quality assurance and improvement practices for the team, and education as needed.
• Facilitate communication between residents, their families, and healthcare providers.
• Provide backfill support for Operations Manager to maintain continuity and operational efficiency.
• Manage complaints from residents, families of residents, and staff; arrange consultation meetings to address concerns; record and document all complaints; work towards resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Plan and monitor Services to ensure Cost effective service delivery through effective use and control resources in meeting resident’s needs in accordance with the requirements of the specified services.
• Oversee and manage the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) incidents, ensuring that all incidents are reported, documented, and followed up appropriately. Maintain detailed incident reports and work closely with relevant teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with allied health professionals as required to ensure care provisions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or related leadership role
- Relevant nursing qualifications with AHPRA registration
- Proven experience in aged care residential settings
- Previous clinical experience in a Memory Support unit with complex dementia.
- NDIS Working Screening Check
