Analyst - Property and Transaction

We are seeking an Experienced Analyst to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and management of data throughout various stages of the project lifecycle, providing analytics to support key business decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of project origination, due diligence, feasibility, financial modelling, and project delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and economic analysis for potential acquisitions.
  • Produce feasibility studies on potential sites.
  • Create reports, summaries, and updates for consideration and presentation.
  • Complete market research, risk assessments, and analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and consultants during the due diligence phase.
  • Model equity, debt, and portfolio returns.
  • Support development and project accounting teams in assessing and monitoring project cash flow.
  • Support capital raising and debt procurement efforts.
  • Manage and maintain a database of property metrics and internal valuation models.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Property, Valuations, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the property sector (e.g., commercial valuations, property/development analysis, capital transactions, or funds management).
  • Expert level understanding of Microsoft Excel for creating and managing financial models.
  • Strong numerical reasoning and well-developed financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication, document presentation, and report creation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
