As a result of organic growth and expansion, they are actively seeking an experienced Timber Pallet Fabrication Specialist to join their growing team on a full-time basis.
The Position…
Working in their Carole Park facility, you will be primarily responsible for the operation of the Pallet Nailing Machine as part of the Timber Manufacturing Team.
Additional duties include:
- Operation of a Nail Gun and other tools/equipment as required, such as Reciprocating Saws and Hack Saws
- Manual handling of materials, equipment, and finished products
- Ensure maintenance of workstations to keep work areas clean and safe
- Working safely at all times to protect your own health and safety, and the health and safety of everyone with whom you work
The Ideal Candidate…
You will possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience in timber manufacturing (or similar) will be looked upon favourably
- Experience with Viking Champion pallet machines will be a distinct advantage
- Forklift license (Preferable)
- Previous experience working with a Pallet Nailing Machine and other related tools/equipment such as Nail Guns and Saws (Highly desirable)
- Positive work attitude
- Good communication skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement attitude
- Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork principles, integrity and honesty
- Physically fit and able to work in a high-paced environment
