About this Opportunity

We are looking for an energised, talented and passionate Payroll Specialist to join the Redlands team. Redlands is currently improving its payroll and HR systems and requires a Payroll Specialist who can work flexibly across multiple software packages and collaboratively across Departments to ensure successful HRIS project execution. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process, management of payroll-related queries and preparation of payroll-related reports for Management. The Payroll Specialist will continuously improve systems and processes and ensure pay rates and entitlements align with employment contracts and relevant Enterprise Agreements.


About you

The successful applicant will be someone who is passionate about creating a positive impact across our School, enthusiastic about payroll and is deadline driven.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following competencies and experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll
  • Experience with ConnX, MicrOpay or other similar systems is advantageous
  • Detailed knowledge of PAYG and superannuation regulations
  • Ability to interpret Multiple Enterprise Award Agreements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, Commerce, or related discipline
  • Experience within the education industry and application of entitlements across averaged and non-averaged employee's
