About the role
 
Seeking applicants to join our central sterilising department located within Calvary Riverina. Full time position processing technician duties performing decontamination, preparation and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment throughout Calvary Riverina. Utilising Infection Control and safety practices of all phases of the process in accordance with AS5369. Shifts range from 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM Monday to Friday and an on call rotating roster.
 
Your main duties will include:

  • Decontamination, reprocessing, preparation and sterilising of surgical equipment 
  • Endoscopy 
  • Facilitation and coordination within the Hub and Spoke model

About you

  • Certificate III Sterilising or relevant training as a sterile technician 
  • Driver license no with restrictions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work within a team
