Boilermaker / Welder

• Townsville based with some FIFO required
• National ASX listed company
• Option of casual or full time

Join our QLD division as part of our boilermaker/welder team, working on various projects across Northern QLD.

You will be responsible for a variety of duties such as;

• Assemble and install new supports/structural members to existing infrastructure
• Inspect and identify areas in need of repair, or any malfunctions/damage
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures and project schedules
• Carry out fabrication, maintenance and upgrades as required
• Completion of sign off documentation as required
• Prepare/complete Fabrications that comply with the clients specification and drawings
• Participate in Tool Box and Safety meetings
• Contribute to activities of continuous improvement
• Adhere to safe work practices

ABOUT YOU

• Marine and mine site experience
• Willing to work FIFO when required
• White card
• Drivers licence
• Experience in the construction oil & gas or mining industries
• Strong team player, proactive and reliable with high safety standards
• Trade Qualification
