Your Opportunity:

As a qualified Physiotherapist working in Residential Aged Care, you will be joining a large and collaborative multidisciplinary team providing personalised treatments.

You will be involved in a new innovative way of offering allied health services to our wonderful Clients. Our award winning (2023 Allied Health Award for Innovative Product Excellence) Plena Care Pathway has been designed to provide our therapists with an opportunity to tailor therapy programs for our residents, built from resident goals and priorities, and delivers evidence-based mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-to-one therapy interventions and group based active aging services.

  • This is a FTE role
  • 38hrs, 5 days per week
  • Will need to work across both Hume and Murray (Albury/Wodonga/Benalla)

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendation to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers, falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to the needs of Plena and the aged care facilities, and work within the scope of the Occupational Therapy profession.
