Conveyance & Dams Officer

We have a 12 month opportunity for a  Conveyance & Dams Officer  to undertake job planning, installation of instrumentation, monitoring and collection of data across the state on our water and wastewater assets. This position will be based in our Shenton Park office, reporting to the Team Leader - Conveyance & Dams.

What the role will involve

Carry out preliminaries to work for installation of monitoring instrumentation Install, commission, operate and maintain asset and system monitoring instrumentation Investigate and report faults and arrange corrective action as required to ensure minimal data loss Prepare technical and field reports on data collection outcomes and activities to demonstrate compliance with monitoring programs Install and operate specialised instrumentation for data collection of data Use specialised software systems for collection, validation and archiving of data

Key skills and experience

Trade qualification or equivalent, with experience in field instrumentation activities Experience in high-risk activities related to field system investigation (Working at Heights, confined space entry & atmospheric testing) Operation and maintenance of field instrumentation Collection, validation and management of hydrometric and environmental data Use of specialist software systems for collecting and validating hydrometric data
