 About this Opportunity

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Production Coordinator to support our operation. This is a shift work role based in our South Brisbane factory. 

We are looking for someone positive, curious, engaging and committed that likes to learn new things whilst working in a fast-paced environment. 

* To be considered for this position you will preferably have experience as a Production Coordinator in the food industry.

Some of the main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: 

  • Assist with the planning, direction, and coordination of the production process to ensure a continuous flow of quality products that meet or exceed all requirements of the customer, Lactalis and regulatory agencies
  • Assist all stakeholders with fulfilment of daily production requirements
  • Coordinate daily production and staffing schedules.
  • Induct, coach, and manage day to day performance and development of team members to ensure all production objectives are achieved and progression through the classification structure is proactively achieved.
  • Quality Checks during production times
  • Prepare and maintain necessary production, receiving and inventory records/reports and submits reports as required by the business

At this level, you may need to perform the following tasks or have the following skills:

  • Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive
  • Able to make decision and plan ahead
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Willingness to learn, improve and adapt.

You must have good written and oral communication skills, be self-motivated, have a strong focus on safety, environment and quality and be able to work as part of an effective team.
