Wood is recruiting a Lead Planner to join our Operations team in Perth. This is a long-term staff position for someone looking to join an experienced team in Project Controls in Oil & Gas and Brownfield projects. 

Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region’s most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.

Please note you must be an Australian citizen or currently hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 10 + years’ experience as a Planner working in an Engineering environment. In addition, ISCED level 6 (Bachelors) Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience).

You will have:

Advanced knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software and related tools and techniques including Logic and CPM analysis, resource loading and levelling Advanced understanding of WBS and project reporting capabilities Advanced ability to develop level 3 schedules and plans Excellent understanding of earned value application, schedule variance analyses/trending and what-if scenarios Advanced understanding of project management principles and techniques prior experience in a senior planning role
