Your New Opportunity:

An excellent full time, permanent career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Off Highway – Mining Equipment Heavy Diesel Technician to join our Field Service team supporting the MTU engine fleet onsite. This opportunity operates on a 7/7 day shift roster and is a on site-based role at Curragh North mine located near Blackwater, making it an attractive and challenging opportunity for the right individual.

  • Diverse service work including diagnosis, servicing and minor/major repairs.
  • Actively contribute towards an ongoing improvement culture in the safety, quality and productivity of the team.
  • Provide great customer service.
  • Carry out hands on service work in field service environments.

What you will be provided with:

  • Accommodation and meals provided (during roster).
  • Site specific Tool of Trade Vehicle provided.
  • Company Laptop + Mobile phone provided.

 About you:

  • Trade qualified Diesel Technician or similar
  • Experience in maintaining, servicing and repairing of mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment – in particular Diesel Engines
  • Practical working knowledge of the operation of appropriate machinery, tools and equipment
  • Current coal board medical or ability to obtain one
  • Current Standard 11
  • Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
  • Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours
