About the Role:

We have multiple contracts available across Hospital & Health services in QLD ranging from 4-12 weeks with potential to extended. Duties for this contract include:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a hospital setting.
  • Review and verify medication orders for correctness, including dosage and potential interactions.
  • Provide medication counseling to healthcare professionals and patients as needed.
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure effective medication management and patient care.
  • Utilize the ieMR system for medication management, including order entry, inventory management, and patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and hospital policies.
  • Monitor and manage medication inventory, including ordering and restocking as required.
  • Participate in hospital committees and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a pharmacist in a hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in using the ieMR (Integrated electronic Medical Record) system.
  • AHPRA Registration (must be current)
  • Australian working rights
  • Updated Australian Immunisation History
  • National Police Check

  
Additionally, the candidate must agree to undertake any of the following as required by the HHS:

  • Integrated electronic medical record training
  • Online induction training
  • Any other training as requested
