But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300

We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As the Talent Engagement Advisor, you will work within our Careers Team to help attract the best talent to JJ’s. 

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Candidate marketing, engagement and communication
  • Writing and posting job ads
  • Attracting & Sourcing candidates via social media and job boards
  • Strong focus on candidate experience
  • Qualifying candidates and building strong talent pipelines
  • Recruitment & Retention reporting
  • Establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with Marketing on recruitment assets/marketing material
  • Create templates and internal training guides 
  • Key contributor to system upgrades and integration
  • Administration support for the Careers Team

ABOUT YOU

You will have some recruitment, marketing or HR experience; but be more interested in attraction, recruitment and retention than operations. This is a newly created role due to team expansion in the business

  • Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative ways to attract and source talent
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Comfortable recruiting across a wide variety of roles - truck drivers, mechanics, administration, IT and across our multiple business units
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, be adaptable and embrace innovation
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Passionate and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • Experience with Seek, LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerOne, Facebook and a large ATS
