The Opportunity
In this role, you will report the Metallurgy Superintendent and work on an 8:6 roster as part of our Wodgina operation in Western Australia. Your focus will be on providing metallurgical support for team members within our lithium processing plant.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing metallurgical support for the team.
- Carrying out routine equipment inspections and calibrations.
- Collecting and preparing samples from the processing plant.
- Carrying out lab scale test work, such as bench scale flotation tests and sieve sizing.
- Helping identify and develop metallurgical improvement projects.
What is Required?
Our preferred candidate will have prior experience within metallurgical environments in the Mining sector.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products.
- While not essential, previous experience in using Outotec OSA and PSI instruments would be beneficial.
