The story of Toby's Estate began in 1997, in the grungy streets of Woolloomooloo, armed with Mum’s garage, a beat-up coffee roaster and passion on tap, we set out on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. Not concerned with the frills of it all, but just that we were consistently consistent in roasting the tastiest coffee we could and treating all the people in our world like family. 

Fast forward 26 years we’re an energetic team and merry band of misfits united by a common passion for doing amazing things, and at the forefront of pushing the limits of premium specialty coffee.

In this role, responsibilities include:

• Supervise daily production activities to meet daily requirements
• Roster and supervise your team to ensure correct labour and output efficiencies
• Produce and analyse daily operational reports
• Train and motivate the production team
• Maintain a safe working environment and adherence to GMP standards
• Identify non-conformances and initiate corrective action immediately
• Assist in building a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Improve site production efficiencies
• Responsible for maintaining HACCP accreditation and leading annual audit process

Who are we looking for?

To thrive in this role, we are looking for someone who can:

• Extensive experience in the food industry
• Strong leadership, staff management and training abilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage quality
• Knowledge of WH&S regulations
• “Can do” collaborative attitude
• Attention to detail
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Working knowledge of HACCP, quality systems and involvement in audits
