Position Details

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Education Assistants to join St Lawrence's Primary School, Bluff Point, in Semester 2 2024 for a 2yr fixed term contract, with the possibility of ongoing employment.

Selection Criteria

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the following areas:

•    Applicants will model and maintain the Catholic ethos of the School.
•    Have excellent oral, digital and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents and teaching professionals.
•    Show initiative, work independently and contribute to our team environment.
•    Ability to assist with the general health and wellbeing of students.
•    Assist with and support the development of teaching programs (includes working with small groups/individuals).
•    Experience in early childhood education is desirable.

Qualifications Required

•    Have a minimum of Cert III in Children's Services or Teacher Assistant qualification or equivalent.
•    Have or be willing to obtain the necessary accreditation requirements.
