Diesel Parts and Service Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and run family business that has been operating since the 1970’s. They pride themselves on quality products and service. They specialize in engines, pumps and Generators.

They offer sales and support to the agricultural industry and major engine companies like Cummins, Kubota, Deutz, Perkins, Yanmar, Kohler and Hatz. They manufacture in house small to large water pump sets. They use gearboxes and centrifugal pumps from China. The engines are sourced within Australia. 

Duties and Task.

Key responsibilities:

• Attending to machinery breakdowns as required

• Effective preventative maintenance and troubleshooting

• Maintain work records to an acceptable standard

• Ensure a high standard of safety is maintained

• Maintaining a safe and clean workspace

• Diagnose and repair 12 / 24 VDC engine electrical systems

· Repair to centrifugal water pumps

• Assembly of pump sets in house

Requirements

• Certificate III

·       At least 3 of similar experience

·       Proven mechanical experience

• Able to utilize a windows-based computer

 • Automotive electrical knowledge advantageous

• Diagnostic skills using conventional methods plus computer aided diagnostic tools

• Experience with Cummins, Kubota, Deutz, Perkins, Yanmar, Kohler and Hatz

• Understanding of centrifugal water pumps and repairs

• Works well in a team environment

• Ability to work under pressure

• Good time management skills

• Strong communication skills

• Current and valid manual driver's license

Wage $35.43 - $40 per hour

Overtime and Penalty rates apply.
