Overview

The NPP Projects Azure Services team, Infrastructure and Platforms Branch of the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) is seeking the services of a Cloudability specialist to provide Apptio Cloudability solutions to optimise cloud resources for cost and quality.

The following skills are required:

• An understanding of Apptio and FinOps and how they can be applied to improve Cloud cost management in Azure and AWS environments.
• Proficient in the use of the Cloudability application including ingestion of data, development of dashboards and report analysis.
• Ability to train others in the analysis of reports.
• Understanding of cost allocation principles and the Apptio Cost modelling application.
• Ability to document and improve processes associated with Cloud Financial Management.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability mentor others in understanding FinOps toolsets, write reports and provide presentations.

Essential Criteria

1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of Cloudability application including ingestion of data, development of dashboards and report analysis. 25 %

2. Demonstrated ability to communicate with both technical staff and financial management staff. 25 %

3. Demonstrated experience in Apptio Cloud Financial Management. 25 %

4. Demonstrated ability to develop dashboards and reports. 25 %
