We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join our Sydney Planning, Reporting and Analysis Overheads team. This is a full time 6-month contract.

The Opportunity

Business Partner with Senior Management, providing accurate and timely reporting, forecasting, and actionable insights to drive achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: 

Responsible for end to end accounting, reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting of corporate costs (Opex and Capex) for allocated departments Analyse and interpret results to provide quality insight to senior stakeholders Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal customers / stakeholders Driving improvement initiatives to simplify, streamline & document transactional tasks Contribute to team success by working collaboratively with own team members Embed a culture of strong control and risk compliance ensuring adherence to Accounting Policies and internal controls including balance sheet recs and analytical reviews.

What are we looking for?

Experience in corporate / cost accounting, planning, and business partnering is desirable. Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and influence strong partnerships at all levels across the organization. A naturally curious & inquisitive individual with the desire to understand and effectively communicate the “WHY” behind the numbers. An autonomous self-starter who is solutions focused and demonstrates a high level of Commercial Awareness and personal accountability. CA or CPA qualified, or working towards this.
